Case Study: Eddie Stobart Chooses Graham Heath Construction For Biomass Project

Graham Heath Construction has been selected by logistics giants, Eddie Stobart to build a large-scale industrial unit that will house a new biomass-boiler and woodchip store for the environmentally focused business.

Eddie Stobart is committed to improving its carbon footprint, recently winning an environment award and rolling out energy efficiency projects for its group buildings throughout the UK. As such, it was vital that they chose a business that they could trust to build their latest Widnes-based project, which required drawings to be followed by the book and every specification to be met.

Having been invited to tender for the 1000m sq. industrial biomass boiler-housing unit, we fought off stiff competition to successfully win the bid and work has now begun on the project.

Graham Heath, comments: “We are extremely pleased to be selected by arguably one of the UK’s biggest and most successful businesses, to create an industrial unit that is helping them to build a better Britain from an environmental perspective. We believe this is down to our experience, reputation, quality product and competitive price and we will now be going out of our way to ensure that we carry the job out to the very best of our ability.”
