In 2019, we’ve found Livestock Sheds to be a BIG hit amongst all our customers, so we’re pleased to share another livestock shed we’ve completed this year. This is a 120 x 40 x 14ft steel frame building with painted steel (not galvanised). Our customer at Reed Home Farm in Northallerton opted for Natural Grey fibre cement roofing, timber purlins and roof lights.
On gable end one, PVC box profile sheets were used with timber rails to clad below the eaves. Whereas on gable end two, we used Yorkshire boarding with timber rails. For all side cladding, we also used Yorkshire boards with timber rails, but with side one to be mainly left open.
Our sister company, Concrete Panel Systems, supplied all the prestressed concrete panels at 90mm thick. The open side was only to the height of 500mm, with the other side produced to the height of 2m – the same for both gable ends.
Finally, the all important doors. The doors for this livestock shed were all located on both gable ends, using only Hinged Doors. On gable end one a door was fitted off corner, where gable end too was centre offset.Get My Free Quote
