G E White & Sons are one of Graham Heath Construction’s top agents and team of erectors, based down in the South East, with over 50 years’ experience erecting steel framed buildings throughout the agricultural, equestrian and even commercial industries.
When one of the leading racehorse trainers, Gary Moore, approached their team for a new barn, GH Construction and their sister company, Graham Heath Equestrian Structures, were the first to hear about it.
Mr Moore looks after over 100 horses and runs a very busy stable, which meant the quality of the new stables, sand school and tack room, had to be second to none. Graham Heath Construction were approached to quote for a new barn structure, which would house a sand school, stable blocks and a tack room.
The G E White & Sons team wanted to go above and beyond for this project, bringing in a specialist joiner to install a solid oak countertop in the tack room; something which isn’t seen in most tack rooms and adds a stunning finish to the room.
The 48m x 24m Sand School sits above a tank which collects rainwater from the roof, which is utilised to keep the sand moist and supply water to the washdown bays adjacent to the stables.
