Our Talented Apprentice is Shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year 2019!

The Sentinel Business Awards 2019 Shortlist

Just over 18 months ago, Alex Critchley joined the team at Graham Heath Construction as our very first Apprentice. This was the first time we decided to try out an Apprentice Scheme as a new way of bringing in talent into the company, but also a new way of providing training too. It’s proven to be a great success ever since, because now we’ve employed our third Apprentice, with two more Apprenticeship opportunities now available!

Alex joined the team as an Apprentice Draughtsman and is close to completing his studies to become fully qualified for the role. Despite still completing his Apprenticeship, Alex has been given a multitude of opportunities to progress further in his role, including mentoring our newest Apprentice Draughtsman, Tom Richardson. Alex has excelled in his role since day one, which is why the whole team are extremely proud to announce that he has been shortlisted for The Sentinel’s Apprentice of the Year 2019 Business Awards!

Alex is extremely chuffed to have been shortlisted out of many other talented individuals, and we all have our fingers crossed for him for the Business Awards Ceremony on Thursday 28th March 2019. Get live updates from the night by following us on Instagram.

We’re always looking for new people to join our team; whether it’s office-based or out on the yard with the manufacturing team. Whether you have previous experience or not, your motivation and ability to learn fast is what’s most important. We’ll provide you with all the training you require to excel in your role and ensure you’re ready to progress up the career ladder in your chosen field of interest.
