Straw Shed

There are many types of agricultural buildings out there, and a straw shed is one of them. We’ve designed, supplied and erected a number of straw sheds over the years, with a recent straw shed being for a local farm in Rugeley, Staffordshire. We can provide a basic steel frame structure teamed with roof cladding of your choice, to house straw bales in – think of it as a roof on legs for straw! Albeit, some of our customers have opted for box profile cladding on one gable end, just like W B Dawn & Son.

Despite a straw shed being a standard steel structure in comparison to other agricultural buildings which can include the likes of mezzanine floors, lean too’s and more, you can still customise a straw shed to suit you. Choose between painted steelwork in a range of colours, or galvanised steelwork for long-lasting protection. Opt for fibre cement roofing, and decide if side or gable end cladding is for you or not. You can even explore additional options, such as rainwater goods and flashings. All our structural steelwork is fabricated at our workshops in Wrenbury, Cheshire to  UKCA marking standards.
